Post Presentation Thoughts
I am now writing at my new site One .Net Way
Last week I presented Silverlight at NCG. I have never been to Newcastle, only drove by when going up to Coffs Harbour few times. The turnout at the meeting was great and I enjoyed every moment of flaunting Silverlight. I always enjoy the wow expression people have when they look at XAML.
Yesterday I presented Silverlight at WDNUG. I was very impressed by CSC offices where they meet. Its a brand new spic’n’span building and the room was great where everyone sat around a big table. I felt that while I was presenting we were also going into discussions which is great. IMO a presentation is a success when attendees participate. This is what happened at WDNUG.
Kirk Barrett who is the president of WDNUG had heaps of goodies to give away including a full copy of Expression Studio and and much more from the orange Microsoft goodies bag.
Overall it was a delight presenting at WDNUG and NCG. I’d like to thank Kirk and Peter for giving me the opportunity and Andrew Coates for recommending me to WDNUG and NCG.
Guys, I’ll be back.
